In January 2025, Hero MotoCorp maintained its position as India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, selling 412,378 units. This represents a significant 40.1% increase from December 2024’s sales of 294,152 units, though it marks a 2% decline compared to January 2024.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India closely followed, recording sales of 402,977 units in January 2025. This reflects a substantial 48.7% growth from December 2024’s figures of 270,919 units.

Bajaj Auto also demonstrated positive momentum, with domestic sales reaching 171,299 units in January 2025, a 33% increase from December 2024’s 128,335 units. However, this is an 11% decrease compared to January 2024’s sales of 193,350 units. Notably, Bajaj’s electric scooter, the Chetak EV, has gained prominence, recently surpassing the Ola S1 in sales.
