MSME Card: Small traders will get a credit card with a limit of Rs 5 lakh, know how to register

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made an important announcement for micro enterprises in the Union Budget 2025. Small enterprises registered on the Udyam portal will be provided with customized credit cards with a limit of Rs 5 lakh. In the first year, it is planned to issue 10 lakh such credit cards.

How to register on Udyam portal:

Visit the website: Visit the Udyam portal.

Select New Registration: Click on the option “For New Entrepreneurs who are not registered yet as MSME or those with EM-II” on the home page.

Fill Aadhaar details: Fill in the Aadhaar number and name of the entrepreneur, then verify the OTP received on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar.

Fill PAN details: Provide PAN card details and previous ITR details.

Fill the form: Fill in the business related details like name, address, bank details, location, number of employees, etc.

Submit: After filling all the information, submit the form and verify the OTP received.

Get Certificate: After successful registration, the Udyam e-Registration certificate will be sent to your email.
